with Chris Rekatas - human enlivened by 'holding space' for other humans Using personal, meaningful 'objects' to explore: What is it to be human - for you? Objects have become a major part of human existence, especially in this day and age - where human also = consumer. This space is to take a look at objects in a different way - and get some objectivity - and in doing so, think about What is it to be human? We will be asking people to 'bring' objects of personal significance and describe not only the connection of these objects with the human underneath - but why this object has such meaning and personal significance to you as a human When: 8.15-10pm (UK time) Where: Zoom room What: Read more below... Each person who joins the space should be willing to 'bring' an object that has personal significance to them as a human being. The object can be anything that has meaning and value - and helps that human explain what is it to be human - for them. (Depending on how many people join in the time available) - there'll be an opportunity for people to describe their object and share it's significance.
Following on from people describing their object and sharing the story behind it, and the human behind the story... the human host and/or other human participants can ask more questions or give comments. Why is it important for you to offer this? To open up a space for other humans to explore what is meaningful to them. Also to generate curiosity and connection between humans through objects - and gaining a sense of objectivity through that : )
